Managing Partner
Michael was
raised in the Hagerman Valley along the banks of the Snake River. Shortly after
graduating from Buhl High School, he pursued a career in music that took him to
Seattle where he lived for several years before returning to Idaho.
In 2001, Michael
started an apprenticeship with a funeral home and began taking classes to
achieve a degree in Mortuary Science, which he completed in 2004.
Since 2017,
Michael has been the Managing Partner at Cremation Society of Idaho. He and his
wife have four children and two grandchildren.
Administrative Support
Born in Twin Falls, ID, Meg relocated to Boise
in 1977. Graduating from Borah High School in 1981, she married her high school
sweetheart in 1983. Meg, a proud mother of one incredible son and three
beautiful grandchildren, devotes her weekends to family.
In 1994, Meg initiated her funeral service journey at a sister funeral home, concurrently venturing into a towing business with her husband. After an impressive 24 years, she joined Cremation Society in October 2017, enriching our companies with three decades of valuable experience.
Lead Funeral Director
Jenaca was born in Northern California and
graduated from a private Catholic high school in 2009. She relocated to Boise,
ID in May of 2020, and began her apprenticeship at Cremation Society in August
of the same year. She completed mortuary school at the end of 2021 and became a
licensed funeral director shortly after.
Jenaca has spent her free time book reviewing
for publishing houses and independent authors since 2015. She loves event
planning and decorating the funeral home with seasonal decorations. She enjoys
spending time with her close friends, video games, roller skating, and crafting
with her mom on the weekends.
Funeral Director
Melanie was born and raised in Idaho and
graduated from Mountain Home Senior High School in 2015. She began her funeral
service career as an apprentice at Rost Funeral Home in Mountain Home, ID in
2021. Melanie moved to Boise, ID in the middle of 2023 with her twin sister and
began working at Cremation Society shortly after.
Melanie spends her weekends visiting her parents
and their two dogs at their family home in Mountain Home. She enjoys jumping on
her parent’s trampoline at night, enjoying the stars and her favorite beverage.
She loves scary movies, video games, going to see live music and is Nicolas
Cage’s #1 fan.
Funeral Director Apprentice
Brittney was raised a majority of her life right here in
Idaho. She enjoys playing music and being with her family. She and her husband
have two beautiful girls age 11 and 3.
Funeral Planning Professional
Seth was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. After graduation and completing his military obligation, he worked in the Treasure Valley for many years. Seth has worked in the funeral business for over twenty-four years. One family noted; Seth was professional, caring and expertise in preparing our mother’s funeral wishes. We are very grateful for the burden that was lifted and comforted that every detail is taken care of.
Seth and his wife, Phyllis, enjoy traveling, grandchildren (21), family, friends, and the beautiful Treasure Valley. Nowhere else have we found a more peaceful valley rich with opportunities and resources like the treasure chest of home. They are loving life in the golden years.
