William “Bill” Keith Grow, 85, of Kuna, passed peacefully of natural causes during the early morning hours of December 31, 2020, in his room at Swan Falls Assisted Living Facility.
At his request, he will be interred at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. A private family memorial with military honors will be performed, with no public funeral services to be held. Arrangements are under the direction of The Cremations Society of Idaho.
Bill was born May 1, 1935, in Boise, Idaho, the second of five children to William Carmer and Wilda Hyde (Hale) Grow.
After attending Boise High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served five years, three of which were spent stationed in Japan. After the military, Bill started his career as a professional truck driver beginning with Wycoff Trucking Co. then drove for Garrett Freight Lines/ANR for many years until they shut down their Boise operations. There were a few other companies he drove for and finally after hauling the U.S. Mail for a short period of time he retired in 1997.
He was married twice and is survived by his 5 children, a sister, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
