Wayne William Findlay

Wayne William Findlay passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on March 14, 2023. He was surrounded by all of his loved ones. Wayne Was born July 22, 1940 in Moline, Illinois to Glenn Alexander Findlay, and Meriem Delphine Humphrey.

Wayne lived a long and productive life. He was always available with a helping hand for his Family and Friends. In troubled times he would lighten the mood with his humor. He was very loved and we will miss him. We know he is with his son James W Findlay who passed away 4 years ago. We also know, he is with God and our savior Jesus Christ.

Wayne retired after many years of working on the rock island railroad. He has been a member of the IBEW union for nearly 40 years.

Wayne Was preceded in death by his parents and a son. He is survived by his wife, Janice Taylor Findlay of 45 years. A sister Gail Frommeyer, California. two sons, Jared Benjamin Findlay ( Wife, Chandra) Meridian, Wayne Alexander Findlay, Germany, three daughters Janelle Elizabeth Lord, Boise, Pamela Jean Jacobo (JJ, husband), Salinas KS. Sherrie Lynne Martin (David, Husband) Meridian. He is survived by his grandchildren, Colin and Bailey Findlay, Alexis, Allyssa, and Van Brown, and Xion Lord, Casey, Christian and Corey Jacobo. Taylor, Mathew and Ashley Martin. Andrew, Christopher and Tiffany Findlay. His precious great-grandchildren. Remy, Jax, Rio and Evangeline. They are the sunshine in our family’s lives.

Our Family Wants to give sincere thanks and appreciation to Harrison’s Hope Hospice. They have been a huge support to Wayne and his Family for 8 months. Special thanks go to Lisa, Vincent, Heather and Elsie. What a blessing you all were during this stressful time in Wayne’s life. Words are not enough!
