Todd William Lindsley’s mother Carol, returned him to God’s loving care on Sunday, August 25, 2019, in Boise, Idaho. Todd was born July 16, 1964, in American Falls, Idaho, to Carol Liese-Rodriguez and Donald L. Lindsley.
He was baptized on July 26, 1964, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in American Falls and confirmed on March 27, 1983, at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Billings, Montana.
Throughout his youth Todd was an avid athlete, excelling in football, baseball, track, and basketball; and he was an inspiration to his teammates, no matter the sport. While attending high school in Wood River he was voted “Most Inspirational” player by his peers. Even as a young child, at the age of 9 he won the Punt Pass and Kick competition with a score of 164.5!
When his family relocated to Boise in 1980, Todd attended Borah High School where he continued to excel in athletics, playing tight end when Borah won the State football championship in 1981. He attended Borah High School until his junior year, and in 1983 graduated from West Billings High School in Billings, Montana.
Todd graduated from ITT in computer drafting in 1992. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life and was a mechanic for Cortez Gold Mine in Elko, Nevada until 2016.
Car racing proved to be the hobby that thrilled Todd the most and became his passion. His dream to have his own racecar was finally realized in 2009, when he got his car, and thereafter he devoted himself to his passion at Firebird Raceway near Boise. He once even survived being a casualty of a runaway racecar, escaping with minor injuries.
Todd was also a very talented free hand artist and he left his family with many cherished drawings he created.
Todd married Pat Rowan in 1991; they were later divorced. He married Susan Warden Cook in 2002; they were later divorced.
In addition to his parents, Todd is survived by his sister, Kimberly Lindsley Collette, Boise; uncle, Ronald Liese (Mary), Boise; aunt, Paula Liese Meyers, Pocatello; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Along with his friends, they will miss Todd for his kind heart, his wink, and his mischievous smile. Rest well, our son, brother, cousin, and nephew.
Services well be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 3100 S. Five Mile Road, Boise, Idaho. Inurnment will be at Falls View Cemetery in American Falls on September 21.
The family would like thank Pastor Dave Deckard and Pastor Kari of Shepherd of the Valley for the overflowing of love and compassion to Todd and his family.

The family requests that memorials and gifts to celebrate Todd’s life be donated and directed to Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 3100 S. Five Mile Road, Boise, Idaho.
