Sherry Inez Leduc

On July 30, 2022, Sherry Crow Leduc passed away in Caldwell Idaho at the age of 83. Sherry was born in Nampa Idaho to Frank and Dorothy Robinson. She married Jim Crow after graduation from Nampa High School, and they raised their four children in the Nampa area. Sherry married Gary Leduc in St Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and they enjoyed beautiful 8 years together before his passing.

In addition to raising her four children, over the years Sherry owned a bakery, worked as an office assistant, a medical claims adjuster/supervisor and was a 4-H leader. She loved being self-sufficient by growing a large garden and keeping chickens, cattle, hogs and rabbits to feed her family. Most of what the family ate she made herself, often meeting her kids at the door after school with slices of homemade bread.

Later in life Sherry’s passions were gardening, sewing and crafting. She spent many years in a craft booth at the Eagle Christmas Bazaar with Julie. After her retirement, Sherry wasn’t afraid to try new things. She snorkeled on the Great Barrier Reef and held a baby crocodile in Australia, enjoyed cruises with her friends to the Virgin Islands, Alaska and the Mississippi River, learned to cross country ski, and attended Mariners baseball games in Seattle. Volunteering at the Botanical Garden and St Alphonsus gift shop in Boise were places she enjoyed giving her time.

Over the years she spent time with some very special friends, traveling and enjoying garden classes and shows. Thank you, Vikki, Mona, Sunday and Sharon, for your love of Mom throughout the years.

Mom lived a long and full life. Her family and friends miss her and are thankful for the years they shared with her.

Sherry was proceeded in death by her parents, husband and brother Alan. She is survived by her children Julie (Craig) Vance, Mike (Angie) Crow, Pat (Charlotte) Crow and Casey (Cindy) Crow, nine grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as her brothers and sisters in law Jerry and Carol Crow, Bill and Cyndi Crow, and Dottie Robinson.
