Michael Calvin Hill

January 9, 1949 - September 15, 2023

GARDEN Valley, ID - Michael Calvin Hill took his final breath on September 15, 2023, at his home in Garden Valley, Idaho. He was born in Colfax, California on January 9, 1949, to Hugh Hill and Grace Malone. He passed from Melanoma Cancer that spread to his brain.

Mike had a love for the outdoors, snowmobiling (which he won numerous trophies), riding four-wheelers, and camping with his kids and grandchildren. He lived off grid with his wife Andrea for over 30 years. Mike always spoke wise positive words, and was willing to help anyone he could; no matter the situation. Any room he was in, you could hear his contagious laughter or life lessons. He enjoyed dancing, spending quality time with his family, and spoiling his dogs. We cherish the laughs we've shared with him, our memories, and we will certainly miss his presence.

Mike was survived by his children: Leah Hill, Audra (Jeremy) Braughton, Stephanie Dowd, Michael (Noelle) Hill, Rochelle Smith, Gwynna Hill, and Joshua (Shannon) Dowd; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Hill; son, Kevin Dowd; granddaughter, Alyssa Dowd; parents: Hugh Hill and Grace Malone and step-mother, Eleanor Hill.
