Lois Arlene Wade, 88, of Boise, Idaho passed away February 2, 2020. Arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Society of Idaho.

Abbott was born on September 24, 1931 in Red Willow County, Kansas to Robert and Delinda (Linnie) Abbott. She had five brothers, Floyd, Delbert,
Robert Jr, Morris, and Darrell. The Abbott family moved to Danbury, Ne. shortly after Lois was born. Lois attended McCook Junior College, and taught school in Marion, Ne. in 1949 and 50. In 1951, she went to Indianola on a Saturday night, where her Uncle Tom had a band. This is where she met the love of her life Navy man, Harley E. Wade, from Danbury, NE.

Harley and Lois were married on June 3, 1951 in Danbury, NE. soon after they moved to Boise ID, where they started their new life together raising their children, the first born 9 months after the wedding. Deborah Sue, Michael Edward, Marcy Lynn and Julia Ann. Lois was a “room mother” for all her children, a Brownie leader and a Cub Scout Den Mother. Harley and Lois were also faithful servants with the Shriners.

After raising their children, Lois attended Links School of business, working at David’s Fabrics, Techni-Chem, and finally the State of Idaho Department of Commerce. In 1992 Harley and Lois moved to Idaho City, where Lois commuted to Boise for work at the state for 4 more years, retiring in 1996. Harley and Lois spent most of the next several years loving on their grandchildren and enjoying each other.

In 2001, having Lost Harley, Lois moved back to Boise, where she managed the Americana Campground until 2006, when she truly retired. Spending her time attending functions and volunteering at Wright Church, enjoying friendships and the growing number of great grandchildren, and of course walking her dogs.

On February 2, 2020. Harley and Lois Wade were reunited in the kingdom of heaven. A reunion that was awaited by many including their children Marcy who died as an infant and Mike who died in 2015.

Lois is survived by her daughters, Deborah, and Julia, her grandchildren, Marcie, Shanna, Wade, Abby, Eden, and great-grandchildren, Noe, Braeden, Kamryn, Tanner, Adalynn, Emmy, Stormy, and Boston.

Services will be 11am Sat 2/22/20 @ Wright community church 4821 W. Franklin Rd, Boise, ID.
