Linda M Hall

Linda Mikesell Hall, aged 79 passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 17, at 9:46 am. Mom was born in Montpelier, Idaho, on December 5, 1942 to Georgina (Bee) and John Louis Mikesell. She was the youngest of four children.

Her family moved from eastern Idaho when she was about 8 years old to Parma. She attended schools there until her junior year, heading back to Soda Springs to attend her final year of high school.

At 17, she met Tully Edge. They were married on July 12, 1960. Her sons Duane and Shawn were born to that union. Linda and Tully were later divorced..

She met Bobby (Bob) Hall in 1965 at Pollards Café, in Caldwell, Idaho. They were married on December 31 of that year.  They had three more children; Julie, Terry and Billy Joe. They were divorced 15 years later.

Linda worked as a nursing assistant for many years and became a Certified Nurses Aide later in her career. After a sudden illness in 1999, she retired from nursing.

She enjoyed working in the Foster Grandparent program as a library aide. She had many adventures in chaos with her good friend and one-time roommate Athelee (Lee).

Linda was preceded in death by her sister Lila, granddaughter Andrea, beloved son Billy Joe, her parents and daughter-in-law Shelly.

She is survived by her children, Duane (Debbie) Edge, Shawn (Jody) Edge, Julie (Scott) Hendrix, and Terry Hall. 12 grandchildren Roxanne, Michael, Cameron, Stephan, Madison, Erik, Travis, Timothy, Quade, Lindsey, Robert and Breanna.  She also leaves behind 14 great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Graveside service: Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11 am at the Parma cemetery located at 307 W Grove St, Parma ID 83660.
