Tribute

Kim Christopher Hanson was born in Santa Rosa, California on January 29th, 1956 to Vern and Vivian Hanson raised by his father Vern and his step mom Ruth (wilder) Hanson.

Kim was a beloved Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend and most of all Papa. He loved his family fiercely.

Kim was a jack of all trade's there wasn't a thing he couldn't do if he put his mind to it. He served his country in the U.S. Army, in Germany. He ranched for his Father his younger years.   The ranching life, gave him his love for animals. There wasn't an animal he wouldn't try to help. He was a long haul truck driver for over 30 years. traveling all over the U.S. seeing and  experiencing all the things he could. He saw all Continental 48 states, Canada too. He Joked, I'd see Hawaii too but my truck can't swim. He  took his kid's with him during summer's. He showed them landmarks & taught them  history. Kim lived for get togethers so he could BBQ. It was one of his favorite thing's to do. You could catch him smoking a prime rib in the dead of winter in 1 foot of snow.

He loved to ride his motorcycle (Lilly) along side his wife Wendy. They enjoyed several trips together. Riding across country, making  friend's & memories along the way. He loved to go camping, fishing, jeeping, sailing (he alway's wanted to get out to open sea) he loved lounging around in his hammock & getting back to nature anytime he could. For Kim, Life was an Adventure.

Kim had an infectious smile that could light up a room. He was always laughing & joking, don't think there was one person he couldn't get a smile on their face. He had a heart of gold & would go out of his way to help anyone. He is truly going to be missed by many.

Kim is survived by his wife Wendy Di Bene, his son K.C. Hanson, his two daughter's Melissa Bunn, son in law Shane Bunn, Dominique Gilster, son in law Garren Gilster, his six grandchildren, Carson, Kenna, Callen, Boston, Laken & Little Riven, 13 siblings, numerous niece's & nephew's.
