Gordon Bullock

Gordon Bullock, 85, of Boise died on March 31, 2021, Cremation is under the direction of Cremation Society of Idaho. 

Gordon Eugene Bullock, 85, of Boise passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at St Alphonsus Hospital in Boise Idaho. 

He was born August 14, 1935, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, the son of Harvey and Nellie (Anderson) Bullock.

Gordon met the love of his life, Barbara Karen Moen, in Fergus Falls, where they were married on July 30, 1960.  Gordon and Barbara raised two children, a son, and a daughter in Boise. Gordon loved his family, and he never missed an opportunity to participate in outdoor activities such as camping, picnicking, and to attend various presentations of the activities in which his children participated.  He loved to hunt big game and fish with his friends, family, and mentees.

He was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ as his savior at an early age.  Gordon was involved in the Nazarene church throughout his adult life, having attended Fergus Falls, Pocatello, Boise First, Valley Shepherd, and Castle Hills Nazarene churches.  He was involved in choir, as a Sunday school teacher, and Board member at various times in his adult life.

Gordon was preceded in death by his 5 brothers and 1 sister.  He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, their son Robert (Pam) of Richland WA, Daughter Dana Louise Sirmon (Dave) of Nashville, TN; four grand-children and one spouse; one great-granddaughter and 2 great grandsons and many cherished nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Valley Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, 150 W. Maestra St, Meridian, Idaho.
