Erika Coffin, 80, of Nampa, Idaho died March 14, 2022. Cremation is under the direction of Cremation Society of Idaho.

Erika was born on February 20, 1942 in Kaiserslautern Germany to Ludwig and Helene (Mackowiak) Strottner, she was eldest of four children. Erika immigrated to the United States at the age of 21 years, this is where she met and fell in love with her husband Leroy and they stayed busy raising a family of six children.
After raising her six children Erika turned her attention to her career of a tax professional over the next 35+ years, she truly found her calling in assisting people with their taxes and enjoyed every minute of it.
Erika had a unique hobby she generated from her relationship with her father-in-law of writing short stories and poems.
Erika is survived by her five daughters and son-in-laws: Susie and Ted Smith, Mary-Kaye and Brad Stewart, Michelle and Mike Becktold, Kathy and John Richmond, and Janet (Jai) Smith. Her grandchildren: John Barber, Victoria (Tori) Sims, Danielle (Dani) Sims, Austin Chase, Destinie Gardner, Cameron Brandhagen, Dominic McRoberts. Great grand-daughter Adrianne (Ade) Sims, Lyli Farley, Emmerson Farley. Brothers: Soenke Strottner, Tom and Kristy (wife)Strottner. Also, many nieces and nephews.
Erika was preceded in death by her husband Leroy, her parents Ludwig and Helene Strottner, her son Olaf, her brother Rolf, and her son-in-law Emery Smith.
