Christine Diane Hailey

Christine Diane Hailey passed away on March 25, 2022 at the age of 71 in Boise, Idaho.

Christine “Chris” was born on August 4, 1950 in Santa Monica, California, to Alvie Lee “Casey” and Mary Elizabeth (Phillips) Hailey. She graduated from Birmingham High School in Van Nuys, California, and served in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1978. Chris spent her life caring for others in medical and home settings and enjoyed the outdoors and traveling to far-flung locations including China and Ireland. Chris was known and loved for her wacky and occasionally salty sense of humor, her deep love for animals, her eccentric taste in food and incurable sweet tooth, and her undying loyalty to UCLA sports. 

Chris was preceded in death by her father, Casey, and her mother, Mary Elizabeth. She is survived by her brother, Steven (Deborah) Hailey, her nieces Arin (Byrne) Reese and Michelle (Becca) Hailey, grand-nephews Harper and Morgan and grand-niece Daisy, and dear friends Kathy, Todd, and Ellie Brown.
