I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Barker family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection (Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29) and the renewed Paradise earth, where death is an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) that will very soon be eleminated forever, and no family will mourn the death of a loved one (Revelation 21:3,4). This promise has been given by Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18). Truly, what a glorious and almost unbelievable day that will be! It's a reality though for God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). Dear Barker family, When I got up this morning, you and your family were on my mind and in my heart. I can't begin to comprehend the anguish and grief that you are experiencing. I know that words are inadequate; yet, words are all I have to express my deepest sympathy for you. Please know that I am lifting you in prayer with the hope that the memory of Bryson will bring you comfort and solace in the coming days. With my deepest sympathy, Kelli Hudson

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to Bryson's family. For right now, there's no detour around grief, no shortcut through mourning. However, 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, "... power beyond what is normal ", to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry, or that we forget. It means we recover. We recover because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28 which says, "... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". Jesus was referring to the resurrection. That is our amazing hope! The Bible likens our hope to an anchor. Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, our hope stabilizes us and keeps us from drowning in overwhelming sadness. 2 Cor.1:3 describes our Creator as, "... the God of all comfort ". One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort be your comfort now, during this time of sorrow.
