Gone from this life on February 20, 2017 and now lives forever in our hearts.
Tessa was born with Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic lung disorder which she battled valiantly. She had a double lung transplant in 2012. She was a warrior princess of uncommon strength and grace. She did not live as if she were fighting a fatal disease. She lived as if life was a precious gift, forever smiling and always thinking of others first.
Tessa was born in Burley, Idaho on March 15, 1983. She grew up on the family farm surrounded by siblings, dogs, horses, and sunshine. She was active in basketball, soccer, and rodeo. She showed her horse at Appaloosa Nationals and qualified for National High School Rodeo. Tessa loved traveling in the motorhome. She was an exceptional skier and snowboarder. She attended Burley schools and graduated in 2001.
After high school she traveled to Europe for a six week adventure with her sisters. It was one of the best times of her life.
She attended the College of Southern Idaho where she studied hospitality management. Tessa worked at hotels in Sun Valley Idaho and Carlsbad California.
Tessa married her soulmate, Rick Bogue at a gorgeous family wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada. They built a wonderful loving life together. They enjoyed remodeling their home where they entertained their family and friends. They have also been raising Rick's great nephew, Josh since he was a toddler. Josh has been a joyous addition to their lives. Rick has been a loving and devoted partner through all of her medical battles.
Tessa has always been surrounded by love. She was a gift and we are all so thankful for the time we shared with her.
