Stanley was born April 17, 1943 in Medford Oregon, the second child of Loren and Rachel Scheel. Stanley is survived by his brother Cliff Scheel and wife Patti Scheel; Sister in law Bev Jaffrey; Daughter Lisa Crowe and husband Ron Crowe; grandson Nick and wife Megan Verdi and grandson Chris Verdi; Step Granddaughter Jade Mitchell and husband Wyatt Mitchell; and Step grandson Tyler Crowe.
Stanley spent his early years in Portland Oregon as a Police officer for 30 years. He was married to Paula Scheel for 33 years before she passed away. He enjoyed fishing, building cars, and flying his airplane. Stan married into his favorite sports team the Dallas Cowboys and became a lifetime fan.
In 2000 after his wife passed, he moved to Boise Idaho to be near his daughter and 2 grandchildren. Stanley attended Bridgepoint church and quickly became involved in the mens bible study group, served as a deacon and became known for his desire to encourage others.
He was a man of few words, but was known by most for his generous and kind spirit, servant heart and a great sense of humor. He loved his Lord and Savior and we rejoice that he is in his presence now.
