Our Mother’s soul took flight surrounded by love and peace on 7/17/17.
Marilee was born in Beaver Crossing NB on Jan 21st 1934 to Ethel and Lorene Wehr. The love that Ethel had for her daughter was beyond measure. The Family moved to Concord, CA where her Dad worked for Standard Oil. At the age of 10, Marilee became a big sister to her brother Phillip Wehr. Later the Family settled in Nampa, Id., where Marilee attended local schools and later graduated from Beauty School.
Marilee met Larry Bonde and they were wed on June 30th 1953.
Our Mother always knew she would have a large family and she succeeded by giving birth to 7 children whom she raised, protected and loved unconditionally throughout her entire life.
Marilee was a kind and gentle soul which was instantly recognized by everyone she met, including abused and stray pets whom were drawn to her by her loving and nurturing demeaner.
Our mother was blessed with many gifts which include, taking pride in her flower pots and received many compliments. She was a very talented artist which is reflected in her drawings and paintings. She was a skilled seamstress who cherished making clothes for her young children.
Marilee and Larry were married for 50 years until his passing on 10/21/03.
Later in life, Marilee enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she always welcomed with loving arms. She traveled on many occasions including the Oregon Coast and Wallowa Lake.
A celebration for her life will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Boise.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Ethel and Loren Wehr and by her husband Larry Bonde.
Survivors are her brother Phillip Wehr (Pam) of Nampa and her children, Renee Hafer of Twin Falls, Cheryle Jenkins of Boise, Richard Bonde (Julie) of Nampa, Kayleen Zupkow of Boise, Julie Emery of Boise, Randall Bonde of Nampa and David Bonde of Boise. Many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild.
Later, the family will be reuniting Larry and Marilee together at Dry Creek Cemitary.
The family would like to thank Dr. Susan Blough for her kind care of our Mother though out several decades. We also want to extend our thanks to Dr. Micheal Adcox and Dr. Chad Morse.
