Kenneth Dale Buck, 71, of Boise, Idaho, passed away at his home, January 4th, 2018.     Kenneth was born September 23rd, 1946 in Santa Rosa California to David and Jessie Buck the youngest of 9 children.

Ken was a proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather to his kids, which include four children, five step children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ken grew up in Southern California, leaving for a period to serve in the Air Force. After his service with the Air Force he returned to Southern California where he met his soul mate Donna May Brown. For him it was love at first site. On their first date he told her “you might not know it now, but I’m going to marry you.” They married, and began their family in Arkansas and after the birth of their youngest child, they moved to Boise to be closer to family. Ken and Donna raised their four children in Idaho until their next big move to Northern California because they needed to be closer to Ken’s aging mother. They lived there for 10 years before relocating back to Boise where they spent 20 years taking care of those with special needs. Ken spent 11 years as Santa Claus for children in his neighborhood, and giving to others in need, touching countless lives. His wife Donna passed away in January 2012

Ken spent the last five years married to and making fond memories with his friend Marilyn Rickman. Ken was quickly embraced by Marilyn’s children and grandchildren, whom loved and adored him.

He will be lovingly remembered by is wife, Marilyn, his four children, Mike, Don, Matt and Lori his eight grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, Joseph, Vanessa, Hailey, Tyler, Joshua and Justin, his great grandchildren Brooklynn and Bentley his sister Judy and the countless children who called him, dad, grandpa, papa and Santa.
